Condolence: Sweet, sweet lady. So, sorry to hear about Susie. I worked with her at El Campo Middle School. Susie was a great lady and always shared interesting stories. She showed her love for her children and grandchildren by having their photos in her classroom on display for her students and colleagues to view. Susie loved teaching and helping her students learn about history. Her students enjoyed her friendly and caring personality. Blessings.
Condolence: I consider it an honor to be among Suzie's many friends. She was a very special woman, a big heart, so full of life, humor and love of family. We were very close for years in Beaumont, regretfully not as close since we retired to Colorado. We shared a lot of joy, a few tears, our children's weddings, grandchildren and some crazy times. Suzie is unforgettable and will always have a special place in my heart and memory. My love and prayers are with Suzie's precious family at this time. Bobbie Blake
Condolence: I, too, was a longtime friend of Suzie, and have so many memories of our times throughout our elementary years in particular. We last visited at our 50th high school reunion in 2015 and it was evident that she loved God, family, and friends dearly. Her infectious laugh and outgoing personality touched many lives in a positive way. You will be missed, dear Suzie...fly high with the angels as you are welcomed home!
In His amazing love,
Carolyn Sheppard Hagen
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Susie's family and friends. Susie was a very old friend and will be missed. We grew up together in Port Arthur starting with kindergarten through our high school years. We spent many a summer day playing as children with the rest of the neighborhood kids including Don Baker, Jeanie Montroy, and Johnny Becker. I'm attaching a photo of Susie from the sixth grade at Lee Elementary. I have more, if the family wants them.
