Visitation for Pablo (Paul) Garcia will be at Palms Funeral Home on Friday January 4, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and then again the day of the service from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 am.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
Pablo (Paul) Garcia was born to the late Jose Garcia Sr. and Andrea Garza on September 7, 1931 in Goliad, Texas. He went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2019, at the age of 87. Pablo grew up in Goliad, Texas. As a young man, he and the family moved to Angleton, Texas. He worker for Vernor Materials of Clute for many years. He then worked for Angle Tex and Brazoria County where he retired after 20 years. Pablo was owner of Paul’s Lounge for 19 years.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his children; Tommy Garcia and wife Jessica, Nancy Guzman and husband Larry, Robert Garcia and wife Lisa, and Pauline Gradney and husband Terry. One brother, Jimmy Garcia of Houston, Tx. Also, 26 Grandchildren, 61 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Garcia, Sr. and Andrea Garza, brothers, Frank Garcia, Ramon Garcia and Jose Garcia, Jr., sister Aurelia Brush; his wife, Estella Garcia, and two children, Paul Garcia, Jr. and Dora Ortiz.
Pallbearers will be Alfred Ortiz Jr., Kevin Garcia, Tommy Garcia, Jr., Christopher Guzman, Christian Gradney, Ryan Journeay, Eva Villareal, and Irma Leal.
Honorary Pallbearers are Joseph Ortiz, Jason Garcia, Wayne Garcia, Tony Garcia, Timothy Garcia, and Hayden Gradney.
