My heart was sadden to read about the the loss of Dena and wanted to give my warmest condolences to the family. She was so well loved and to lose someone like her can bring such sadness but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He feels our pain. At we can read in the Bible John 5:28,29 that not only does God care but it will move him to remove all the suffering he sees and gives assurance that you will have her in your life once again. May all the beautiful memories you have give you calm and peace until God’s promises come true. Again so very sorry for your heartache. 💐

I still find this so hard to believe. I taught Dena when she was 14 years old and with respect, she was a mess. I worked with her and counseled her and she was a constant visitor at my home. She became one of my special children. We have kept in touch all these years and she came to visit me often and constantly told me I helped to save her life. She always brought some token of appreciation. One of the greatest rewards of teaching is to know that you had an impact on a student's life. She was so looking forward to substituting at Galena Park High where we would see each other often. I loved her and she loved me. I pray for her children and her parents and I know that she rests in the bosom of God.

God bless sweet Dena. We were friends in Galena Park many years ago, just reconnecting on FB recently. My heart goes out to all of her kiddos and grandkids..I can't imagine how you will miss her. Deepest sympathies to you all.

Oh Gaye, you meant a lot to her. I remember when I was a little one and she had me out with you on the horse. Thank you for loving her. She spoke a lot about her childhood memories and you were usually included as well as Karen.
