Adrian Salazar was born in Angleton, Texas on August 4, 1998. He played football through high school and graduated from Clearbrook High School in 2016. After graduating, he continued his education by earning his Associates Degree in Pipefitting from Brazosport College. Adrian was always a caring, genuine person. He was someone who could bring such light and positivity to his friends and family when he was around them. He was someone who could make friends anywhere he went. He was loved by many, from his family and friends in his car group, Nocturnal Clique, to the doctors, nurses, and staff at UTMB, and his dearly loved girlfriend, Christalee Marie Rodriguez. On March 29, 2021, Adrian went home to be with the Lord, after 8 months of battling cancer. He passed away at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. He was welcomed to Heaven by his stepmother Jennifer Salazar, little brother James B. Salazar, and great-grandparents Eluterio Sr. & Maria Santos Salazar, and Preciliano Sr. & Elena R. Cardona. Left to cherish his memory is: his father, Eric Salazar, his brother, Anthony Salazar, his grandparents, Eluterio Salazar, Jr. and Maria Elena Salazar; his aunt and uncle, Melida & Jeff Carpenter, and their children Racquel Marie & husband Luis Fortuna, Alan George Villarreal, Megan Abigail Carpenter, and their granddaughter Andrea Carmen Fortuna; his uncle and aunt, Eluterio Salazar III and Maria Delaluz Salazar, and their children, Brianna Nicole, Emery Lynn, and Eluterio Salazar IV; uncle and aunt Elliott and Ashley Salazar and their son, Ethan Salazar. He is also survived by his stepfather and mother, Jack and Vanessa L. Austin III, and their children, Desarea Marie Austin, Jack Jayden Austin, Andrew and Roman Longoria; his grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Richard Longoria; and his uncles, Richard and Rolando Longoria. His pallbearers are: Alan George Villarreal, Victor Esquivel, Daniel Davila, Jack Jayden Austin, Jonathan Lopez, Eluterio Salazar III, Jack Austin III, and Luis Fortuna. Adrian's Services will be held at Palms Huneral Home in Angleton, Texas. The viewing will be Thursday, April 15th, 2021 from 4-5 P.M. for the family, 5-7:00 P.M. for the public, the Prayer of the Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. On Friday April 16th, 2021 the Holy Mass will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, Texas at 10:00 A.M., then after the mass all joining will follow to Angleton Cemetery.
