Billy Gene Jones

Billy Gene Jones, 83, of Sulphur Springs, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, January 10, 2015. He was born in Bremond, Texas on May 13, 1931 to Sidney & Etta Jnes. He moved to Angleton in 1952. Bill was a retired Angleton Volunteer Firefighter and a Dow Chemical Company retiree. He owned Jones Exxon in Angleton. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family and friends. Bill was preceeded in death by his parents, his wife Doris, brothers; Charles & Weldon Jones, sister; Mae Dell Jones Laughlin. He is survived by his brother, Ronnie Jones and wife Kay of Liberty, Texas. Sons; Billy Ray Jones of Yantis, Texas and Glenn "Buddy" Jones and wife Sandy of Angleton. Grandchildren; Brian Jones & wife Denise, Clint Jones, Shelly Mancuso & husband Michael as well as great-grandchildren; Brent Jones, Addison & Keaton Jones and Hailey and Mia Mancuso Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.
