Charles Allen Rumery

Charles Allen Rumery is once again two steppin' in his boots and hat, and playing frisbee with his blue heeler Jack. He was freed from the pain of his earthly body on September 20, 2017. Born March 16, 1982 in Freeport, he is the proud father of daughter, Brooke, beloved son to Richard and Sandra Rumery, brother and uncle to Richard and wife Christie, and nephew Cody and nieces Catelyn and Celsie, Randy and wife Shara, nephew Tyler and niece Loryn, Kevin and niece Katie. Charles loved to hunt and fish. Even after his accident he traveled to Wyoming to bring back the antelope mount he was so proud of. He loved his truck, his phone, Clash of Clans and terrorizing all in the path of his nerf gun, filling the house with laughter. He cherished his "Brookee Wookee" and longed to be the father his love for her wanted him to be. He was outspoken, as strong as they come, persevering through more than most of us will ever have to face. Services are set for Monday, September 25, 2017 at Palms Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Angleton Cemetery.
