John Henry On December 1st John Henry was released from pain and frailty and now rests in the palm of the Lord. He was born in 1932 to John and Mary Henry in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Mt. Carmel High School and served as an Air Force Policeman from 1951 to 1955. John retired from the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1987. John is survived by his wife Juanita Marx Henry of Angleton. John and Juanita were married for 61 years and have two children. Son Patrick and wife Kathy live in Angleton. Daughter Jeanne Marie lives in Port Washington, NY. John and Juanita have two grandsons; David lives in Houston and Sean lives in Lake Jackson. John is also survived by his beloved Lab mix Maggie and grand dogs Stella and Scout. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at his home church, St. John Lutheran in Angleton on December 10th at 11:00 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the St. John Ministry Endowment Fund.
