Linda Clarice Sbrusch

Linda Mason Sbrusch, 76, of Angleton, passed away April 25, 2018, surrounded by her family. Linda was born on April 30, 1941, to Raymond and Robbie Mason in Zapata County, Texas. She grew up in Ganado, Texas where she graduated from high school in 1959. She moved to Houston after graduation and earned a certificate in business from Houston Business College. She met the love of her life, Thomas Sbrusch, at Green's Drive-In in Edna, Texas. They married April 28, 1962, and later moved to Sinton, Texas. They welcomed their first son, Thomas Sbrusch Jr. in 1965. The family moved to Angleton in 1966. Their second son, Raymond Sbrusch, was born in 1970. She worked as a Dental Assistant for Forrest M Dunn, DDS for several years, retiring in 1991 to spoil grandkids. They moved in 2000 to Bar X Ranch to enjoy country life. Linda enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and deer, caring for their pets, and savoring a good cup of tea. She loved to read mystery and crime novels, as well as collecting Sabino art glass, birdhouses, Hummel figurines, and rosaries. Linda and T.J. loved to travel, having visited Canada, Italy, and many locations across the United States. She was an active member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church for 52 years, where she served in the Catholic Daughters, the Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas (KJZT), and on the St. Thomas Center board. Linda was very generous, always dedicating her time and resources to those in need. She volunteered at local charities and gave the needy blessed angel medallions and many prayers. Her entire family, especially her grandkids, loved her cooking. She hosted Sunday dinners every week; just to spend time with family. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Sbrusch of Angleton; children, Tom Sbrusch and wife Cathy of Angleton, Ray Sbrusch and wife Daranee of Houston; grandchildren, Kristin and Ryan Sbrusch; sister, Peggy of Simonton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Robbie Mason. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m., April 30, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Angleton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 1, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Angleton with Rev. Victor Perez officiating. Interment will follow at the Angleton Cemetery.
