Mac Edward Moseman

Mac Edward Moseman , 93 of Angleton passed away July 11, 2015. Mac was born on May 7, 1922 in El Reno Oklahoma to Charles Edward Moseman and Martha Knodel Moseman. Mac grew up during the Depression years in a mechanics family in Angleton since the age of 7. At 12 years old,he built his own motorcycle from a gasoline washing machine motor. Mac served proudly in World War II. He was trained as an Aircraft mechanic in the US Army Air Corps he was in the invasion of North Africa and maintained A-20 bombers in Africa and Italy. Then, he was sent to Tonapah Nevada where he was discharged at the end of the war. After the war, he returned home to Angleton, He met and married Audrey Bernice Utley. They were together 68 years. Mac ran the Angleton Aircraft Company maintaining area aircraft . He was a certified FAA inspector for over 50 years. Mac enjoyed building things . Some of the interesting things he built included an airboat, 3 houses , electric weed eater on wheels, timed cat food dispenser, and an electric beer can opener before pull tabs were invented. He was very creative and had a very good knowledge of mechanics. He was is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Martha Moseman. His sister Patsy Johnson, half brothers Wyman Howick and Robert Moseman. He is survived by his loving wife Audrey Moseman, sisters Dixie Collins(James) Mary Jane Zimmerman(Glen), son Thomas Moseman, grandchildren, Teri Counts (Bo) of Angleton. Milissa Sesion (Melvin) of Bryan; great-grandchildren, Ryan Lewis, Payson Townsend, Katie Session, Nathan White, Rachel White, Tre Session, Amber White, and Sydney Counts. A special thanks to Tena Baxter for the heart-felt care. Visitation & funeral services will be Wednesday, July 15th. Visitation for family 10:30-11, public visitation from 11-12, with funeral following at 1pm. Burial at Angleton cemetery. He will be laid to rest with military honors.
