Margarito I. Guzman Margarito Guzman, 67, was born on June 10, 1945 in Mexico and passed away Sunday June 1, 2013 in Angleton, Tx after a hard battle with cancer. Funeral Services are set for Thursday, June 6 at 10:00 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, with burial to follow in Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6-7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Chapel followed by Rosary at 7:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Consuelo and Francisca Izaguirre Guzman. Margarito is survived by his loving wife, Angela Guzman; children, Enrique Guzman, Albertano Guzman and wife Terri, Margarito Guzman Jr. and wife Veronica, Saul Guzman and wife Maria, Elva Damian and husband Rudy all of Angleton, Martha DeLeon and husband Dario of Pasadena. Brothers Angel Guzman and wife Tere of Illinois, Benito Guzman and wife Tina of Houston and sisters Conception Martinez of Illinois, Carmela Gloria Guzman and husband Eduardo of San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Ana Soto and husband Arnulfo of Illinois. Grandchildren, Yliana and Albertano Guzman Jr., Rudy, Mary and Sophia Damian, Daniella DeLeon and twins Javier and Anahi Guzman, as well as many family and friends. Margarito had a great passion for the outdoors, gardening and picking flowers with his grandchildren. He was a "jack of all trades, and master of many", concrete work, tile work and so much more. He was extremely proud of the legacy he leaves behind, the hard work and many years of dedication of his properties in Mexico. Margarito will be missed for his friendship, mentoring and teachings of all his life experiences. Pallbearers will be Enrique Guzman, Albertano Guzman, Margarito Guzman Jr., Saul Guzman, Rudy Damian and Dario DeLeon. His grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
