Michael Edwin Land Michael Edwin Land, 65, of Angleton, TX passed in Angleton on July 19, 2013. Mike was born January 21, 1948 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Christy Curtis Sr. and Gladys Land. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and best of all, spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Christy Curtis Sr. and Gladys Land; brothers, Robert (Bob) Land, Christy Curtis Jr. Land, and Harvey Land; and his grandson, Cameron Hodder. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Susie; sons, Chris (Julie), Frank (Crystal), Mikey (Shauna), and Curtis (Ashley) Land; siblings, Mary Van Mantgem, Raymond Land, Thomas Land, Judy Byrd, Julia Hanks, and David Land; grandkids, Lacie (Keithan), Aaron, Chase (Tara), Chelsea, Morgan, Cameron, Taylor, Jessica, Katie, Paige, Preston, Jenna, and Colt; great-grandkids, Lilly Anne, Zachary Chase II; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to Tersea and John Harlan for the extra care they provided. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 9025 Carlow Lane, LaPorte, TX. on the 27th of July, 2013.
