In Loving Memory

Of

Rebecca Renee White

December 11, 1957 ~ January 14, 2024

Rebecca Renee White, a beloved wife, mother, NayNay, passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on December 11, 1957, in Houston, Texas, and was the daughter of Alvin Andy and Ethel Oleta Inglehart.

Rebecca's journey began in Harris County, but it was in Navasota, Texas, that she crossed paths with the love of her life, Jonathan David White, Sr. They were united in holy matrimony on June 9, 1973, in Navasota, and their love grew deeper as they embarked on a life together. Later, the couple made Angleton their home in 1989, where they built a beautiful life centered around their shared values and devotion to family.

Family meant the world to Rebecca, and her role as a wife, mother, and NayNay brought her immeasurable joy. She poured her love and care into everything she did, making sure that her husband and children always felt cherished. Rebecca will be remembered for her love of crafting and travel, as well as her passion for cooking with baking being her specialty. Although she may not have had a green thumb, her love for plants was evident, and she took pleasure in their presence in her home. She loved her dog, Diablo. Her favorite color was purple and she loved butterflies.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 50 years, Jonathan David White, Sr., her son J.D. White, Jr., and her daughter Brandy Peña (husband, J.T.). Additionally, she leaves behind her grandchildren, Ashley White, Jonathan David White, III., Nathaniel Peña, Brittany Peña, Rachel White, and Austin White, who held a special place in her heart. Her great-grandchildren, Lincoln White, Sawyer White, Wyatt Derrick, Jr., and Evie Mae Peña brought endless joy and laughter to her life. Rebecca is also survived by her brother, Robert Inglehart.

Rebecca's loving presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. While she is now reunited with her late parents and brothers, Alvin Andy Inglehart and Ethel Oleta Goedrich, Ricky Inglehart, Larry Goedrich, Garry Goedrich and Timothy Goedrich, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends who will carry her memory forever.

The visitation for Rebecca White will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Funeral services, led by her beloved husband, David, will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
