Robert Michael Rose "Mike" March 20, 1949 ~ March 13, 2016 Robert Michael Rose of Angleton, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 13, 2016 at the age of 66. He was born to Robert Edward & Margaret Nancy (Simons) Rose in Angleton, Texas on March 20, 1949. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Johnathon Eakin officiating. The Rose family welcomes friends for a time of visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Mike, as he was lovingly known as loved to fish & kayak. He also loved playing pool and was on a bowling league, and earned a black belt in Karate. He was an avid athlete in High School, he set many records in the sports he played. Mike worked as a Master Electrician and was retired from Brazoria County. Left to cherish Mike's memory are his children; Robert Michael Rose, Jr. (his wife, Cheryl), Jennifer Neeley (her husband, Buddy) and Nicole Rose, his brother, James Edward Batten, his sisters; Betty Nell Randall, Margaret Elaine Rose, Cynthia G. Jamison, Lillie Diane Mutina, Nancy Hope Kubosh, Terry Lynn Prodoehl, and Rhonda Rose Abel his grandchildren; Dylan Busch, Hunter Busch, Daniel Neeley, Edward Neeley and Paislee Rose as well as his great-grandchildren; Payton & Gage Neeley. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Edward & Margaret Nancy (Simons) Rose, his daughter, Stephanie Busch, and his sister, Vera Louise Gravell. Serving as pallbearers will be Pelle Donham, Lester Wollam, Rocky Rhodes, Zack Gage, Lance Boomhower & Melvin Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brown & Raymond Rabbit Petenbrink.
