Sean Christopher Gordon

Sean Christopher Gordon, 54, of Angleton went to be with Jesus on May 1, 2023. Sean began his journey on earth on September 1, 1968, when he was born to Melvin and Linda (Castle) Gordon. Growing up he took many paths but the two choices that impacted him the most was placing his trust in Jesus and marrying the woman that would become his life partner. He married Kimberly Bock on March 19, 2005. Sean & Kimberly welcomed their son, Brayden Matthew Gordon on April 10, 2006. Sean was a loyal employee of EVCO Industrial Hardware in Freeport, TX since 2015. He absolutely loved his job, the EVCO family and going to work every day. Sean and his family are members of Life Foursquare Church in Angleton, where he served in many areas, but his heart was with LifeKids and his Kinder/1st grade class. He poured his love and energy into so many kids, ensuring they knew they were loved by Jesus and him. It was his greatest honor to invest in their lives. Sean was an avid sports fan, he loved watching professional and college sports. The Houston Astros was his favorite team. In his spare time, he spent time with his family, enjoyed gardening and music - U2 was his all-time favorite band. Sean was known for his love of hardwork, helping others, giving the best hugs, remembering the name of everyone he met and making them feel seen and special. Those that preceded him in death include: His father, Melvin Leroy Gordon; his mother, Linda Castle Gordon. Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Kimberly Gordon; son, Brayden Gordon; brother, Todd Gordon and his wife Keri; Niece Kayla Gordon; Nephew Luke Gordon; Mother in Law, Andrea Bock, Brother in Law, Randy Bock, Jr and his wife Rhonda; Niece Haleigh Cargile and her husband Taylor; great niece, Lakelyn Cargile; and many friends & extended family. A Celebration of Sean's life will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 11am at Life Foursquare Church, 501 Karankawa, Angleton, TX 77515. Sean's family would be honored to have those who loved him come and celebrate his life and share a meal with us following the service. Service Details.
