Louise Jackson, 83, of Angleton, Texas, passed away on May 14, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Edith Dorman; daughter, Georgianne Wilcox; sisters, Marguerite Bell, Lucille Lewis, Irene Highinbotham, Beatrice Palmer; and brothers, Alonzo Dorman and James Dorman. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cynthia Weitz (Ronnie), Mariellen Overly; sons, Brandon Jackson, Robert Jackson; sister, Edna Mae Tucker; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and beloved friends. Louise was born in Sour Lake, Texas, on February 2, 1938. Strong in her faith, she was raised to love and honor our Lord. Louise gave her life to Christ, accepting Him as her Lord and Savior, and tried to honor Him in her daily life. Before her 60-year career in Real estate, Louise worked as a model in Houston, a legal secretary in Sour Lake, and she owned a retail shop. She treasured the opportunities to work with so many people. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and just having a laugh and all-around good time. More than anything, Louise loved her family and always put them first, encouraged them, and made sure their needs were met. She had a heart for others and offered help as much as possible. Louise was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed. She certainly imed good values on the lives of those she touched. Louise leaves a legacy of love for which her family is eternally grateful. A visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home, on Friday, May 21, 2021, from 9 am to 10:30 am. The graveside service will follow, at Angleton Cemetery, at 11 am. For the safety of all attending, mask are required and social distancing is encouraged. Service Details.
