Adam Ramirez, Sr., 76, of League City, former resident of Angleton, passed away on October 25, 2021 in League City. Adam was born on December 3, 1944 in Freeport to Julio and Consuelo Ramirez. Adam was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Gail Ramirez, brothers Luis, Filomeno, Alonzo and Tony Ramirez Sr., sister Lucy Arias and great grand-daughter Zaylin. Left to treasure his memory are his children: Vincent Ramirez Sr. (Linda) and kids Vincent Jr. (Amanda), Steven, Brandon (Logan), Justin (Dulce). Tina Battle (Brad) and kids Brittney (Hunter), Vanessa, Alan, Joshua, Aaron and Rebecca Battle. Adam Ramirez Jr. (Amy) and kids Haley, Devin (Brittany), Isaac. Stacie Getgood (David) and kids Bradley (Katie), Tristan. Shaun Ford (Tessa) and daughter Addy. Mother of children Lupe Velasquez, sisters Margie Silbas, Eva Lara, Alice Martinez (Ruben), Carolyn Alvarado (Jesse), and brother Oscar Ramirez (Josie), and 14 wonderful great grandkids Adam worked in both Brazosport and Angleton school districts throughout his life and did several stints in the plant. He continued to do part time service in his retirement years as a crossing guard. Adam loved spending time with his family and cooking BBQ for them at family gatherings. His favorite thing to do was visit with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He loved to watch sports but had a special love for the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys. Adam would sit in the garage listening to Mexican music and enjoyed chatting with his neighbors and community. He enjoyed watching Old Westerns and had a sweet tooth for Snickers. He was known for not only maintaining his yard but also offering to do other neighbors yards, especially those who were unable to maintain it themselves. He enjoyed watching his grandkids, great nephews and nieces play sports. As a member of Greater Height Fellowship Church, he was a greeter and sang in the choir. With his friendly personality he knew no stranger and treated everyone like family. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every bit of it. Pallbearers will be Brandon Ramirez, Justin Ramirez, Devin Ramirez, Alan Battle, Aaron Battle, & Tristan Getgood. Visitation will be at Palms Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 10: 00 .am.
