Alane

Mary (Alane) Sanders Anderson, 59 of Angleton, passed away on December 24, 2023. She was born in Freeport, Tx. to Lamar & Janice Sanders on February 18, 1964.

She was an active member of the Daughters of the King. She loved crafting and making NANA’S JAMS, her award-winning jams and jellies for the fair and farmers market.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years John Anderson, her daughter Christina Sanders Branch & husband Eric, & her granddaughter Kaley. Also surviving her are her stepchildren, Joseph Anderson & wife PJ, with their children Ethan, Carley and Nicolas; Carol Sargent with her children Bradley and Eli, as well as her two sisters, Patty Alaniz & husband Floyd, Sherry Brown & husband Melvin, & brother Lamar Sanders along with numerous nieces and nephews

A Celebration of life in memory of Alane will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at Holy Comforter Church in Angleton. (227 S. Chenango St.). All friends and family are welcome to join us. There will be food and refreshments following the service.
