Alfred Ray Mendoza May 15, 1963 ~ August 25, 2017 Alfred Ray Mendoza, 54, of Rosharon, Texas, passed away on August 25, 2017. He was born in Texas City on May 15, 1963 to Fernando and Matilda Mendoza. Alfred was a lifetime resident of Fort Bend County and Brazoria County and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Community in Manvel. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Alfred enjoyed watching his son play football for the Angleton Wildcats as well as helping him with his FFA animals. He was an avid team roper and liked to hunt in his spare time. Alfred has been employed with Murillo Company for 36 years and absolutely loved competing in BBQ cook offs with his Murillo family. Left to cherish Alfred's memory is his wife of 18 years Bobbie Gail Mendoza, son Anthony Martin Mendoza, sisters Patty Mendoza husband Joe Reza and Janie Mendoza Loaeza husband Omar, sister in law Mary MacMillan husband Jerry, brother in law Bill Caldwell wife Evelyn, nieces Kimberly Mendoza and Amanda Leiva husband Kirby, great niece Kaylee Rivera, father in law Bill Caldwell wife Sandra and mother in law Rita Cruse. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was especially close to his uncle Carlos Mendoza and his cousin Jesse Zuniga. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Fernando and Matilda Mendoza. A rosary for Alfred will be held on Friday, September 8 at 7 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church following a 6 to 7 p.m. visitation. The funeral mass will be Saturday, September 9 at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1713 N. Tinsley, Angleton TX 77515.
