Almer Kenneth 'A.K.' Coley

In Loving Memory of Almer "Kenneth" A.K. Coley November 20, 1939 ~ February 3, 2017 Almer "Kenneth" (A.K.) Coley, 77, passed away on Friday, February 3rd, 2017, in Houston, Texas. Born November 20th, 1939, in Corsicana, Texas, he was the son of the late Truman Francis Coley Sr. and Joe Sally Wilson Coley. He grew up in Corsicana, moved around for a while, and eventually settled in Angleton, Texas, where he spent the rest of his life. He was a loving man, yet tough to the core. He was a very talented individual, considered by many as a jack of all trades. His passions included, mechanics, woodcrafting, long-haul truck driving, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed frequenting the local cafs to visit with his many friends. He will be remembered for his humor and his contagious laugh. He had a kind heart and will forever be loved and missed by those he left behind. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joyce Marie Bonneau Coley; children, JoAnn Coley of Angleton, John Coley of Angleton, Audrey Coley (Anna) of Mississippi, Adrienne Coley Dison of Mississippi, Lisa Waite (Bill) of Angleton, Chris Morris (Allison) of New York, Brian Morris of Angleton; brother, Howard Coley of Corsicana; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a few special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Truman, Charles, Doil, and Newt; and sisters, Frankie Joe and Jean. He will be cremated with no services, upon his request.
