TOGETHER AGAIN ALTA MYRL BAKER NICHOLSON Alta Myrl Nicholson 81, of Angleton, Texas passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, Texas. Alta was born February 16, 1933, to John and Geraldine Baker in Hammondville, Ohio. She married the love of her life Howard Allen (Bud) Nicholson on March 19, 1949. She was a great women, loving wife and Mother. She was a long time member of the United Methodist Church, active with the Maggie Poole Circle, the Church choir, and Stanton Local band Mothers. She was a passionate cake creator. She enjoyed camping and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her Husband Howard Nicholson her parents John and Geraldine Baker, and grandson, Brandon Lei Kreger; Alta is survived by her sons, Richard (Rich) of Angleton, Douglas and wife Connie Nicholson of Santa Fe, daughter Donna Dukats and husband Aivars Of East Palestine, Ohio; sisters and brother Mary Mills, Bernice Crawford, and Charles Baker grandchildren Tracy, Jennifer, Amy, Scott, Shawn, and Ashley; and 7 great-grandchildren.
