Alvaro S. Rios Sr.

On the morning of May 26, 2019, Alvaro Rios Sr., 73, of Clute Texas passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all his loved ones. Alvaro Rios was born in Ejido La Pinta Coahuila and became a native of Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua. He came to the United States in 1979 with his family in order to provide a better life for them. He was married to Guadalupe Rios for 55 years and they together had 5 wonderful children. He was a strong man till the end, never wanting to get old and always handy and active. Alvaro was a loving man who worked hard every day to provide as much as possible for his children including some of his grandchildren. He spent his spare time playing with his tools and fixing anything that to him wasn't too broken to throw away. He had a charismatic personality that could befriend anyone he met. He loved to dance and wouldn't miss out on the opportunity to go out dancing with his wife. His huge grin and laugh would bring a warm welcome to anyone he encountered. He worked for Gulf Coast Toyota in the maintenance department for 19 years and he was extremely proud of his job. He once said they would never find another employee like him. He was a funny man till the end, making us laugh with all his jokes during the most difficult situation. He will forever be loved and missed dearly by everyone. Alvaro is preceded in death by his father Catarino Rios Garcia, mother Eduarda Saucedo Garcia, sisters Antonina Rios Saucedo and Beneranda Rios Saucedo and granddaughter Yeslia Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Rios, 6 children: Ismael Rios, Toni Rodriguez, Juana Contreras, Maribel Flores, Alvaro Rios Jr. and Victor Rios, Including 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and his fur baby Charlie. As well as 2 sisters, Juliana Rios Saucedo and Brigida Rios Saucedo, and his brother Melecio Rios Saucedo. Service Details.
