Alvin was born in Berwick, Louisiana on January 3, 1935 to Alvin "Mr. Fatty" James Justelien Sr and Lilly Leblanc Justelien. Alvin moved to New Iberia during his high school years. The family is very grateful for the sacrifice and love that Jennifer and Heath have provided for Alvin and Zoe. Alvin grew up playing baseball, later enjoying hunting and fishing. His greatest joy came from visiting with children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Alvin and Zoe enjoyed traveling to many different destinations around the country.
