Angela Marie "Angie" Thompson

Angela (Angie) Marie Gaines - Thompson, age 38 of Angleton Texas passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Angela was born on January 10, 1983 to parents Wallace Gaines and Rhonda Whitton. Angela married the love of her life, Tyler Thompson, on May 20, 2017. She was a graduate of Angleton High School and most recently worked as a home care provider for Visiting Angels where she cared for each of her clients like they were part of her own family. Angela was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and loved the sparkle of jewelry, and was an avid animal lover. Her selfless desire to care for all of God's creation was very evident. Angela's beauty shined inside and out as brightly as the jewelry she adorned, but most of all she was so much more than our mere earthly words can even begin to express. Angela is preceded in death by her grandparents: Tommy E Parrish, Edna (Tootsie) and Joe Dowell, and Clinton Wiseman. Left to cherish all her memories are her husband: Tyler Thompson; parents: Rhonda Whitton and Wallace and Radonna Gaines; in laws: Elbert and Robin Thompson; grandparents: Tom E. and Jeanine Gaines and Mary Wiseman; son: Skyler Thompson; sister: Lauren Jones and husband Joby; brothers: Robert Harrison and wife Sabrina and Jared Harrison and wife Meredith; sister-in-law: Tabitha Stewart and husband Kyle; and numerous other family members and friends. A Visitation Service will be held at Palms Funeral Home from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at Palms Funeral Home at 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 with Cere Muscarella officiating and interment to follow at Angleton Cemetery. Dress is casual attire.
