Angele Sanches Soria

Angel Sanches Soria, 70, went home on May 8, 2015, with his family at his side. Angel was born on October 2, 1944 in Angleton, Texas to Juan Leonardo Soria and Trinidad Sanches Soria. On July 1, 1967, he married Rachel Guerrero and they made their home in Alvin where they raised a son, Alex, & two daughters, Stephanie and Angela Michelle. After a lifetime of work in several different trades, he retired in 2001. He is survived by his son Alex Soria; daughter, Stephanie Olivarez & husband Jorge; daughter, Angela Michelle Gonzales & husband Thomas; grandchildren Amanda Soria, TJ & Aracellie Olivarez; Cecelia, Thomas-Roy, & Emily Gonzales; brothers, Joel Soria & wife Marie, Frank Soria & wife Margarita, George Soria, Rudy Soria & wife Berta; sister Kathy & husband Filimon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rachel, & brothers John, Leonardo, Paul, Catarino, & Daniel Soria & sister Josephina Soria. The family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015, at the Palms Funeral Home in Angleton where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 110 E South Street, Alvin, Texas.
