Arnold Alfred ""Robby"" Robinson Jr.

October 24, 1943 — March 5, 2019

Arnold A. Robinson, "Robby," 75 of Angleton, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded in love by his family on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Robby was born October 24, 1943, in Waco, Texas. After graduation, Robby joined the Marine Corps where he proudly served as a Corporal in Okinawa and Kodiak, Alaska. In November of 1977, Robby married the love of his life and became the father of Michelle and Vicki. Robby and his "three girls" instantly became a close, loving family that enjoyed traveling together and especially loved camping on the West Coast and in the mountains of Colorado. Robby retired from Dow Chemical, where he worked in the paint department. After retirement, Robby enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family, traveling and cruising with Jimmie, and spending guy-time with his son-in-laws and close friends. Known for his kind heart and gentle soul, Robby will be dearly missed by so many. Robby was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Chase Delgado. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jimmie Robinson; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Joe Delgado; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Mike Harmon; "adopted" son James Evanicky and wife, Rachel; and "adopted" daughter Lisa Tippin and husband Russell. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dalton Delgado and Hayden Harmon and many close friends. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held later in the week, followed by a Celebration of Life with his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston.
