Arthur Edison, 68, of Angleton, Texas passed away Thursday, August 6, 2013. He was born July 27, 1945 to Santiago and Olivia Edison in Goliad, Texas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Rosary will follow. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Guadalupe Edison, Sylvester Edison, and Fred Edison. He is survived by his wife, Diana Salinas Edison; sons, Marcus Dwane Edison, Daniel Rey Edison, and Steven Lee Edison; daughter, Marisa Denise Edison; brother ,Ruben Cantu; sisters, Ramona Ramirez and husband Bal, Eva Edison, and Connie Perez and husband Rumaldo; grandchildren, Diego Rey Edison, Omar Santiago Edison, and Olivia Diane Edison. Arthur Edison touched the hearts of many. He was a wonderful husband, father and dad, and grandfather to many. He was loving, caring, and made sure his family was always first in his priorities. He worked hard he loved his job. Arthur worked for Davenport Transport for over 35 years, who were like family. He was one of the best truckers out on the road, and he will keep on truckin' the heavens above. He will be missed, loved, and never forgotten.
