Arviline Teal Cahill

ARVILINE TEAL CAHILL, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went home to her Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven on March 17, 2014. Arviline was born in San Augustine, TX on September 20, 1924 to parents Tom and Maggie Teal. A beautiful woman of style and grace, she married "the sweetest man that ever lived" on August 10, 1946 and was married for 64 years. She was blessed with two loving children whom she truly adored and enjoyed a lifetime of love, laughter and family. She was an active long-time member of the Wilkins & Downing Church of Christ in Angleton. Arviline is preceded in death by her husband John Raymond Cahill, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Patricia Steele Cahill; grandson, John David Norsworthy, Jr.; and sisters, Ellen Dickerson and Lorene Self. Arviline is survived by her loving daughter Donna Cahill Norsworthy and husband, John David Norsworthy, Sr. of Sugar Land and loving son, John Cahill, Jr. of Houston, TX; grandchildren Bridget and husband, Darrell Roth of Sugar Land, TX, Amber Cahill of Santa Monica, CA and John Bryan Cahill of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Katlyn Norsworthy, Grace, Judd and Caroline Roth; sister Tommie Teal Hull and brother Jimmy Teal of Carthage, TX.
