Barbara Ann Mcdaniel

Barbara Ann McDaniel, 75, of Brazoria, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Henry and Elizabeth Jane Huhs Amason; husband, Weldon Merton McDaniel; son, Weldon Merton McDaniel, Jr.; and brothers, Thomas and Billy Amason. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry McDaniel (Brandi Stepchinski) and Clinton McDaniel (Brenda Nichols); sister, Beth Hester; grandchildren, Amber and Stephanie McDaniel; great grandchild, Blaine McDaniel; nephew, James Shanks; nieces, Debbie Holden, to whom the family would like to extend a very special thanks for her help during this time, and Eda Hester Metcalf; great niece, Harley Wilson; and numerous other family and dear friends. Barbara was born on April 19, 1945, in Angleton, Texas. She was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing bingo, and watching Nascar. More than anything, Barbara loved her grandchildren and great grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
