Barbara Collard

Barbara Jean Holt Collard was born on March 31st 1943 to Sam and Mary Beth Lewis Holt in Angleton, Texas. She joined our Lord in Heaven on January 25th 2013 at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her brother, Herndon (H.L.) Holt and sisters, Addie Rogers and Joyce Blessing. She is survived by her brother, Watt (Tooter) Holt; sisters, Ollie Douglas and husband James; and Bonnie Taylor; and sister in law Fern Holt, brother in law, Bud Blessing; three sons, Brent Collard and wife, Patty; Brian Collard, Bret Collard and wife, Annette; daughter, Micah Lawson; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Chance Holt Collard, John Thompson, Jarrett Stroud, Aaron Garcia, Randall Taylor, and Jose Avila. Honorary pallbearers are Seth Collard and Dylan Blessing. Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Palms Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 am with interment to follow in Angleton Cemetery.
