Beatrice Laverne Nesmith

Beatrice Laverne Crouch Nesmith, favorably known as Mrs. B, was called home to our Lord on November 7th, 2021, at age 92. She was born on July 23, 1929, in Bedias, Texas to Esau and Emma Crouch where she grew up alongside 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Beatrice married Doyle F. Nesmith in 1948 and raised three loving daughters. She worked alongside Doyle in their business. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Freeport Church, where she taught pre-school and volunteered wherever she could. She will forever be cherished and remembered by her surviving daughters Barbara Davis and Debra Nesmith, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Beatrice will be missed by her sisters Kathy Corley and Joyce Dyer, as well as by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Nesmith, her daughter Wanda Ballard, her two sisters Janie Hobbins and Rosie Nesmith, and her three brothers Robert, Nathan, and Bob Crouch, and her parents Esau and Emma Crouch. A visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home at 2300 E Mulberry St in Angleton, TX at 10:30am and will be followed by a service at 11am. Following the funeral service there will be a burial service at Angleton Cemetery. Service Details.
