Belton Wayne 'Whitey' White

Belton Wayne White, 72, of Angleton, known to his friends as Whitey, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 23, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on September 1, 2012, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Richwood, Texas with Brother Carroll Grigsby officiating. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born in Liberty, Texas in to Simmie & Sara White. A resident of Angleton since 1966, he retired from BASF after 32 years of service. He loved to duck hunt and fish. He was an accomplished wood carver and enjoyed training his Labrador retrievers. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret White of Angleton; three daughters, Kebra Fuller & husband Charles of Lake Jackson, Tammy K. White of Angleton and Sherri Rachunek & husband Eric of Sweeny; two granddaughters, Jennifer Watson and husband Ryan of Clute and Elizabeth Morgan and husband Mark of Brazoria; three grandsons, Samuel White, James M. Long and Steven Long; three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; and sister, Karen Hoglan and husband Bill of Georgetown, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or The Boy Scouts of America.
