Benjamin Monroe "Ben" Hudson

Benjamin Monroe "Ben" Hudson, 89, of Angleton passed away July 21, 2023.

Ben was born on December 16, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had a long, successful career as a carpenter and has spent his retirement enjoying his favorite pastimes, race horses, remodeling homes, driving his tractor and spending time with his family. Ben was always willing to lend a helping hand, and whole heartedly loved his wife and family.

Ben was married to his wife almost 65 years, they went on to have two children the late Benjamin Monroe Hudson, Jr. and Kim Griffin.

Ben was preceded in death by his son Benjamin Hudson, Jr. his parents William and Beatrice Hudson, siblings, Doug, Margie, Ike and Clementine Hudson.

In addition to his wife, Janice Hudson, he is survived by his daughter, Kim Griffin and husband, Brian, daughter-in-law, Tammy Funderburg and husband, David, grandchildren, Benjamin Hudson III and wife, Evette, Craig Stanford, Brandon Griffin and wife, Nicole, Ashley Fleshman and husband, Micah, great grandchildren, Jaggar, Griffin, Ava, Hayley, Caleb Fleshman, Andrew Hoyt and their true friend Brenda Hodges and many others.
