June 16, 1927 — November 24, 2012

Benjamin Weiner M.D. Benjamin Weiner M.D. was born June 16, 1927 in upstate N.Y. and died Nov. 24, 2012 in West Columbia. He received his medical degree from the University of Zurich, and Switzerland always was a second home to him. He practiced medicine in Angleton for more than 40 years, and was the founder of the Medical Center Clinic. Being a doctor truly was his passion. He was vibrant and exciting to be around and his loving, compassionate nature was a gift to those he knew. Benjamin never wanted the attention focused on himself, but rather spent his time making sure his family members were cared for and happy. Aside form medicine, he loved to travel and spent years traveling the world with the true love of his life, his wife Gebe. He was incredibly proud of his two grandchildren and loved and supported them without fail from the time they were born. He leaves behind his wife Gebe, sons Michael (Joy) Weiner and Greg Ericson, daughter Carla (Alfred ) Ricks, and grandchildren Kolbe Elizabeth and Alfred Benjamin Ricks The family will have a private memorial service.
