Bernice Rehms Ford, 90, of Angleton, Texas passed away on January 21, 2012 at Creekside Village Nursing Home in Clute, Texas. Bernice was born on April 10, 1921 in Hempstead, Texas to Benjamin and Tony Rehms. She was married to William (Bill) Ford of Angleton, Texas and was employed by The Dow Chemical Company for 30 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Angleton, Texas and was a member of XI Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for over 50 years. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Ford; her parents; two brothers, Dutch Rehms and Robert L. Rehms; and two sisters, Lucile Solomon and Dottie Teague. She is survived by two sisters, Dixie Rehms and Lee Rehms of Lake Jackson, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Palms Funeral Home at 2300 East Highway 35 in Angleton, Texas. Visitation with the family will precede this service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Wilcox, John Adams, Bobby Craig, Rodney Rogers and Kirk Willson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernice's name to the charity of your choice.
