Bertram Cooper

Bertram Cooper, age 86, of Holiday Lakes, Texas passed away June 28, 2019. Bertram was born June 14, 1933 in Bakersfield, California, to Bertram Cooper and Ruby Pearson. Bertram served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for TDCJ and retired from there after 16 years. He also worked for the State of Texas doing sheet metal fabrication. Bertram was married to Claudia Milner Cooper for 41 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Rita Claudette Raska Reed. Survivors include his wife, Claudia; his children, Bruce Lee Cooper, Brenda Cooper, Danny Knox, James Dale Raska, David Wayne Raska, Raymond Darrell Raska, Roberta Celeste Raska Hamby; his sister, Maryellen; 21 Grandkids & many Great-Grandkids. Visitation will be at Palms Funeral home on July 1, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be Graveside Services on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Texas Service Details.
