Bess

In loving memory of our mother, Bess Boone, who was born on September 10, 1937 and passed away on February 4, 2024. Bess was the devoted wife of Bobby Boone and loving mother of Andy and Kevin. Mom will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Bess was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Boone, her parents Clarence Pierce and Cora Lee Pierce, her siblings Lucille Gonzales, Nolan Pierce, and Billie Joyce Pierce. She is survived by her sons Andy Boone and Kevin Boone and her sisters Jolene Johnson and Peggy Sullivan. She was Mamaw to her four grandchildren, Jake Martindale, Tori Boone, Bayleigh Boone, and Luke Boone.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Growing up, Bess was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. Mom was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

The funeral service will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Friday February 9, 2024. Family visitation will be at 9:00 AM, followed by a general visitation at 10:00 AM. The services will then be held at 11:00 AM.

Mother, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
