Betty Jean Corley, born May 1, 1925 in Albany, Oklahoma to Ponie & Lizzy Beal, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2013. Preceded in death by her infant twin sister (Baby Beal), husband Willie Kenneth Corley, Brother Joe Beal, and Sister Maxine Childs. Known to all as Mom, Grandma Corley, Grammy, Sis, Aunt Betty and Ms. Betty, she will be remembered for her love of family, hard work ethic, and teaching us to be fair and kind to others. Kenneth & Betty moved to Angleton in 1949. Betty was a loving wife and nurturing mother to her 7 children, supporting them through all of their activities. Betty was passionate about making a difference in children's lives. She was able to accomplish this through 27 years of service with the Brazoria County Womens Shelter, where she also served as Director of the Supervised Visitation Program.
