Beverly Oberhelman Robinson

Lifetime Angleton resident Beverly Oberhelman Robinson passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021, at the age of 83. She was born on November 8, 1937, to Pearl (Tops) and Roy Behringer. She graduated from Angleton High School in 1956 and held several secretarial positions in the Angleton area before going to work in the Brazoria County Treasurer's Office, a job she greatly enjoyed for many years. Beverly was a beautiful, caring woman with a strong personality. Her life's passion was getting to know people and spending time with loved ones. Cooking and baking were her favorite hobbies, the labors of which she shared with anyone she could if the opportunity arose, as was her giving nature. She went out of her way to let people know she cared. When asked by her granddaughter how she felt about the life she had lived, Beverly once said, "I tried to be a good, kind person. It's been a good life. I've had family and friends. I've gotten to do a lot. I have had a lot of good laughs. I really enjoy people; getting to know people has been one of the best parts of my life." She will be remembered for her warm smile, contagious laughter, generosity, and the long-lasting impact she left on those she knew. Beverly was a loving wife, caring mother, doting grandmother, and kind friend who will be greatly missed. Beverly is survived by her husband Edward Robinson, daughter Jenny Duplantis and her husband Jay, daughter Tori Sharp and her husband Roger, and her cherished granddaughter Katie Rose Grella. Beverly's family would like to thank Angleton Visiting Nurses and all the compassionate caregivers who provided much appreciated assistance in her later years.
