Billie Dell Holden

Billie Holden, 80, of Angleton passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Angleton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 at Palms. Billie was born January 1, 1933 in Frankston, Texas to John & Thelma (Sullivan) McDaniel and had lived in Angleton for 72 years. She was an accomplished painter and loved spending time in her art studio. Billie loved her family and enjoyed family reunions & gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father R.J. French, her husband, Norman Ray Holden, Sr & son, Norman Ray Holden, Jr. Survivors include her children; Michael John Holden, Sr & wife Debbie, Lee Ann Davenport & husband Joey both of Angleton & Kathy Barthelmess & husband Tim of Brazoria. Brothers; Jackie McDaniel of Huntsville & Merton McDaniel of Brazoria. Sisters; Nancy Hager of Pasadena & Opal Holden of Austin. 15-Grandchildren & 29 Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Barthelmess, Shane Barthelmess, Coby Barthelmess, Gary Bloomberg, Tony Ramirez & Tyler Holden Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Holden "Butch", Blayne Casey & Zane Reyes.
