Billie Joyce Dunn

Billie Joyce Adkins Dunn, 84 of Angleton passed away March 20, 2018 in Angleton, Texas. Billie was born February 1st, 1934 in Mexia, Texas to William Dave and Virginia Ruth Adkins. She married her High School sweetheart Grady "Buddy" Dunn August 12, 1950 in Lake Jackson Texas until his death April 7th 1980. They had two children Bobby Lee Dunn and Benny Ray Dunn. After retiring from Dow Chemical her greatest joys were playing the organ, sewing, fishing, volunteering, and spending time with her High School Classmates, family and five generations of Children, Grandchildren, Great-Grand Children and Great-Great Grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by her parents Willian Dave and Virginia Ruth Adkins, her husband of 30 years Grady "Buddy" Dunn and her son Bobby Lee Dunn. She is survived by her son Benny Ray Dunn-(Sissy Harris Dunn) of Angleton, Granddaughters Heather Goolsby-Angleton, Carissa Davis-Angleton, Malissa Dunn-Hollis AR, Grandson Jeramy Dunn-Angleton. Great-grand Daughters, Chelsea Therrion-Lake Jackson, Peyton Dunn-Huntsville, Korra Kennedy-Hollis, AR, Lolly Dunn-Angleton, Great Grandsons Bradley Blanton-Lake Jackson, Dylan Dunn-Port Lavaca, Hunter Blanchard-Huntsville, Coletin Price-Angleton, Trey Goolsby-Angleton, Austin Davis-Angleton. Great-Great Grandchildren, Trinity, RayLeigh and Braxton-Lake Jackson. Sister Jennifer Gayle Morrow-Philadelphia, PA and many nieces, nephews and great nephews and great nieces. The family would like to thank Dr. Vellanki, all the Nurses of County Village Care and special thanks to First Presbyterian Church of Angleton Billie's Celebration of Life will be held and the First Presbyterian Church of Angleton Saturday March 24th in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30pm with Father Preston Weatherly officiating.
