In Loving Memory of Billie Ruth Muldrow June 21, 1926 ~ June 12, 2017 Funeral services for Billie Ruth Muldrow, 90, of Angleton, Texas will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 1100 E. Wilkins in Angleton, Texas, with Brother Leland Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Angleton Perpetual Care Cemetery in Angleton, Texas. Billie Ruth passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 in Angleton, Texas at the age of 90. She was born in Post, Texas on June 21, 1926 to A. V. and Leona Tucker Price. She graduated from North Texas University, Denton, Texas at the age of 20. Her "first two years out of college she met, and fell in love with, Jack V. Muldrow, the man to whom she would be married for fifty-two years". She "fell in love with the job of teaching school, and this love enabled her to teach for thirty-eight years". She and Jack took great pride in the fact that between the two of them, they taught eighty years. She taught for several years across the state and moved to Angleton, Texas in 1965 with her family to work for the Angleton School District for twenty years teaching seventh grade Texas History until she retired in 1985. Billie Ruth was a beloved and active member of the Church of Christ in Angleton for fifty-two years. She was a member of the Brazoria County Retired Teachers Association, Alpha Delta Kappa - Texas Fidelis XI and Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She loved teaching, reading books, working puzzle books, playing bridge, trips to Las Vegas, spending time with family and being a Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.V. and Leona Price; sister, Margaret Jordan; and husband, Jack V. Muldrow. Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Mary Margaret (Steve), of Bonney, Texas; two granddaughters, Stephenie (Gary) Bradley of Tyler, Texas; Alyson of Snook, Texas; one nephew and one niece; beloved Beagle, Danny; other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E. Hwy. 35, Angleton, Texas 77515.
