Billy Fred Easterling, 79, a beloved husband, father, and grandaddy. Billy peacefully departed this world on September 22, 2023 in Angleton, Texas leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born on February 29, 1944, in Velasco, Texas Billy lived a life marked by an unwavering devotion to his family. He found joy in the simplest of moments and was known for his playful spirit, often spending hours watching Looney Toons with his adoring grandchildren. They will forever hold memories of him close to their hearts.

Billy had a passion for the great outdoors, finding solace in the tranquility of camping trips. Although he embarked on countless adventures, his true love lay in the world of classic cars. Enthusiastically tinkering away, Billy's inventive nature knew no bounds as he put his heart and soul into every project.

One of his greatest pleasures came from gathering his loved ones around the table for a delicious meal. Billy's culinary skills were renowned, and his famous tacos brought the family together with salsa, laughter, and plenty of taco seasoning mishaps that would cause everyone to smile.

Billy's legacy will forever live on through his beloved children: Billie Jean O’Conner, Jimmy Easterling, Amy Dillahunty (husband, Ricky) and Michael Easterling (wife, Julie.) Also left to cherish Billy’s memory is his sister, Judy Easterling, and his grandchildren & great-grandchildren: Trey Alfrey, Wimberly Dillahunty, Brandon Easterling, Ryan O’Connor, Bayleigh Dillahunty, Jessica O’Connor, Benjamin Easterling, Hannah Dillahunty, Kara Easterling and Alyson Dillahunty, Kamille Thornton and Javier Gonzalez, and his faithful fur baby and sidekick, Precious who will continue to honor his memory and the values he instilled in them.

Awaiting Billy’s arrival in heaven, his wife, Bertie Jean (Pool) Easterling, parents: Rhosco and Pauline (Butler) Easterling, and his brother, Donald Easterling.

A visitation will be held at the Palms Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. located at 2300 East Mulberry Angleton, Texas 77515. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., also at Palms Funeral Home.
