Billy Mack Casey

Mack Casey, 65, previously of Danbury, TX, passed away May 18, 2018 at his Lake Livingston home, after a long hard battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Mack Casey, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Jane Leslie; and stepfather, James Douglas Allison. Mack is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Walters Casey; Daughter, Kimberly (Brad) Ahrens; Son, Christopher Casey; Grandchildren, Laynee Williams, Jillian Williams, Lacey Ahrens, Macie Ahrens, Jace Ahrens and Colt Ahrens; his brother, Terry (LaBonne) Casey; Step-Sisters, Sue and Kitty; and step-brother, Doug (Dianne) Allison, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Mack was co-owner of Texas Sign and Lighting in Angleton, TX for over 30 years. He also owned Casey's Apiaries in Danbury, TX. Mack was an active member of Brazoria County Bee Keepers Association, Traditional Bow Hunters of Texas and Lone Star Bow Hunters. Mack enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, archery and bee keeping. He had an open heart for the youth and would teach anyone willing to learn. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and took pride in teaching them about the outdoors. Mack never failed to mention his love for watching the Danbury Lady Panthers Softball Team and would cheer them on any chance he could get. Mack will be remembered by his family and friends for being loving, giving, compassionate and very witty. Mack spent his final days on earth at his Lake Livingston home, close to the water, surrounded with his family and friends. He will be missed beyond measure by many.
