Billy Paul Hardcastle

Billy Paul Hardcastle, 65, of Angleton passed away on January 8, 2024. Billy was born on May 21, 1958, in Cameron, Texas to Billy Earl and Betty (Reese) Hardcastle. Billy was employed as a crane operator for 30 plus years, as well as enjoying a small bit of time as a cattleman. He recently retired but always kept himself busy with projects or just simply piddling around the house.

Billy had a great love for the outdoors. You could often find him on his GREEN tractor, with his family at the deer lease, or out in a field hunting birds. He loved spending time with his grandchildren whether it would be hunting, playing outside or rough housing. There was never a dull moment.

He would do anything for anybody, he didn’t mind getting his hands dirty and he was always there to offer help. He cared deeply for his family and friends and always made sure they were taken care of. If he wasn’t out lending a hand, he would be in his favorite spot on the couch watching tv.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother Betty (Reese) Hardcastle and brother in-law James (Bo) Blackstock.

Left to treasure his memory is his father Billy E Hardcastle; children: Casey Hardcastle and significant other Ryan McCoy, Brianna Gravell and husband Devan, and Christopher Mullen; Billy’s special friend: Gina Casper; sisters: Pauletta Blackstock and Donna Hodges; and brother: Curtis Hardcastle; grandchildren: Evangeline, Preston, Mason, Aubrey, Peyton, Brandis, Bailee, and Wyatt, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews that he loved dearly.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
