Bobbie Jean Carr

Bobbie Jean Carr, 86, of Angleton, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012. She was born on August 29, 1926 inFort Worth, Texas to Omagene and Robert Barr. She lived her life devoted to God and family. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. It can be truly said of her that she fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. The reward of an eternal home in Heaven is now hers. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Lloyd Carr; and her sister Charlene Smith. She is survived by her children; Robby Carr and wife Billie, Penny Packard and husband Terry; her grandchildren; Laura Alexander and husband Bruce, Ryan Carr and wife Christina and Lee Packard; her great-grandchildren; Ethan Blake, Logan Alexander, Kylie Carr, Karys Carr and Carson Carr; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A private graveside funeral will be held at Angleton Cemetery on Friday, September 28, 2012 with Pastor Rodney Coats of Emmanuel Baptist in Clute, Texas officiating the service.
