Bonita Ellen Chambers

Bonita Ellen Chambers, 71, of Angleton, passed away June 5, 2019. She was born July 29, 1947 to Robert & Jeanette Smith Thayer in Berlin Heights Ohio. Bonita moved here in 1977. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Served as the Church secretary for 17 and a half years. She was an accomplished writer and photographer. She also was a huge animal lover. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as a brother, Robert Thayer, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, James Chambers of Clute; her daughter Caroline Price of Churchill; Grandson Robert Price; brother Bruce (Cindy) Thayer of Berlin Heights Ohio, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.
