Bonnie Elizabeth Harris

After a short but courageous battle with cancer Bonnie went peacefully into the arms of her Savior on August 15, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born May 18, 1941 to Harmony & Arvilla Meyer in Bonney, Texas. She graduated from Angleton High School where she met her lifelong love, Dolan Harris. They were married for 59 years. Loved ones that went on before her & with whom she is reunited with include her husband; Dolan, parents; Harmony & Arvilla, brother; Bud, and sister; Vivian. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Wayne Harris & wife Pam and Shelley Risinger & husband Daniel, Grandchildren; Deanna Harris & Dolan Harris III & wife Tara, Camryn Emfinger, Emily Emfinger, & Hannah Risinger, Great-Grandchildren; Desmond, Eleanor, Whitley, Brylie, Wyatt & Levi (expected in December). Visitation will be at First Baptist Church Saturday, August 18 from 4-6 p.m. Graveside will be at Angleton Cemetery at 2 pm Sunday, August 19. A service to celebrate her life will follow at First Baptist Angleton at 3 p.m. She loved her church and had many special friends there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church vision.
