Brenda Comiskey Feb. 17, 1939 - October 25, 2013 Brenda Alene Comiskey (Simnacher) died in her sleep on October 25, 2013 due to complications from cancer treatment. Brenda is survived by Glenn Comiskey, her loving husband of 53 years, daughter Karen Lambdin and her husband John, daughter Sharla Coleman and her husband Drew, and daughter Linda Desrochers and her husband Pat, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Brenda was born in Littlefield, Texas to Joe and Elvoy Simnacher. She is also survived by her siblings Bruce Simnacher and Patricia Ferrell. Brenda lived in Angleton for 47 years. She was a generous volunteer with Road to Recovery, Girl Scouts, Angleton Softball League, and Sea Center Texas. Brenda loved playing 42 at the Senior Center and with her family, and swimming with the mermaids in the city pool in the early morning. She was a Trivia champion and avid reader. Brenda will be remembered by her family and friends for her generous spirit, intelligent conversation, and delightful sense of humor. She will be missed. A Vigil Service for Brenda Comiskey will be held Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Palm Funeral Home at 7 pm with visitation to begin at 5pm until 7pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10 am on Monday, October 28, 2013. Brenda requested that attendees wear the bright colors that she loved. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Thomas Center Clinic, for Mammogram Services, 415 South Erskine Rd., Angleton, TX 77515.
