Bruce Hattaway, 86, of Angleton passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Cere Muscarella officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 at Palms. Bruce was born November 17, 1928 in Dotson, Texas to Charles Eben & Ada Gladys (McFadden) Hattaway. He was a member of the Angleton Lodge # 829 AF & AM. Survivors include his wife Bernice Hattaway of Angleton, Daughters, Carolyn King & husband James of Angleton, Kathy Pierce & husband Konrad of Lake Jackson. Grandchildren; Michelle & Jimmy Brennan, Monica & Stacy Holmes, Arick & Leslee Pierce, Nathan & Jalaine Pierce. Great-Grandchildren, Amber & Nikolas Mendez, Arick Pierce, Jr., Karlee Pierce & Casey Holmes Step-Daughters; Angela Wargelin, Natalie Pohl, Nikki Scholnemann, Nora & Adrian Cerda & Ashley & Boyd Morris and 6 step-grandchildren. The Family would like to thank Dr. R.R. Kategummola and staff for all the years of excellent care and to Heart To Heart Hospice Care Team for all the love and compassion they have given to our family.
