Buddy Hollie

Buddy Hollie, known to many as "Boudreaux" or "The Dawg", left us all too soon on October 30, 2021, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas. He was born on September 23, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois and later moved to the great state of Texas. He worked many different jobs through the years and met lots of different people. He did not know what a stranger was as he was a friend to all. He was loved by so many and leaves behind his own legacy. Waiting for him on the other side was his mom Vikki (Rikki) Mayes, his loving grandparents, Aunt Donna Smith, Aunt Elaine Nelson, and Uncle Jimmie Hollie. He left behind his son Dustin of California; brothers: David (Trysha) of Alabama, Johnny (Lorrie) of Alabama, Jimmie (Alicia) of Texas, Danny of Texas; a host of nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces; his loving bonus family: Franz & Tamela Elliott of Texas, Travis Elliott (Christina) of Texas, Hunter "Bean" Elliott (Taryn) of Texas; and all of his racing family.
